Monseigneur's Antartica Facts

  |   Source

My friend Monseigneur has a habit of sporadically sending tidbits about Antartica. They're probably just dredged up from the trenches of wikipedia, but regardless I get a kick out of them and figured that they'd make an excellent first post that I could update. For posterity and stuff.

  1. The first Spaniard to visit Antarctica as part of an international expedition visited in 1984, and helped set up the first Spanish research station there. She returned there in 2013 at age 78.

Note

There are plenty more that have transpired prior to my deciding to document the interactions. I'll try to retroactively find and apply them.
